​Healthy weight is so hard to gain. I struggle with it myself; because I never understood how to do it. I know there are people like that out there and it is so painful when you do not really understand.

I am on a weight gain journey.  Granted, I do not want much weight. My intention is to gain, at most, fifteen pounds. I will try to update you guys in a few months on my journey. But, what I am doing now is so simple.  Your calorie intake is what counts and that is simply all it takes. Doesn’t that sound easy?  It does, yet some people struggle in getting their daily caloric amounts.  How to calculate your calorie intake is by using the calorie counter calculator online.  There are many of them.

Healthy foods that have a lot of calories are: bananas, avocado, nut butters, rice, and pasta. I have found that there are a few articles online about weight gain and them being so many, I sometimes find it difficult to know which is credible.  Prayer in the hand of faith is key on such occasions.  Ask yourself, like I always do, if what is being done is for God’s glory. If yes, continue to ask Him to guide you daily in what to eat. There will be Daniels in our day and so we are to be healthy and fair looking as was Daniel and his companions.

Life with its struggles can really stress and wear us out but God wants us to heed this admonition
